Welcome to Brisbane
Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, is a thriving, sustainable and multicultural city with an innovation-led economy and an enviable outdoor riverside lifestyle. A leading hub in scientific innovation, technology and education, Brisbane is preparing to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with iconic Olympic cities — Los Angeles, Paris and London — as the Host City of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The city is transforming with a wave of new infrastructure, including the Queen’s Wharf precinct, Brisbane Metro, Cross River Rail and the redevelopment of Victoria Park, making it a vibrant, modern destination on the world stage.

Getting There
Brisbane International Airport welcomes direct flights from 29 destinations across the globe, with convenient links through the central hubs of Dubai and Singapore, and boasts the most connected domestic network in Australia with routes to 61 destinations. The Airtrain takes you from both terminals directly to Central Station in the heart of the CBD in around 20 minutes, with taxis, shuttles and ride-share readily available.
